What the Service Offers?

As a small business owner and having a hobby farm, I know that equipment, and more specifically, hydrauilic hoses, never give out at the most ideal times.  While hoses are not cheap, the equipment and labor downtime and scheduling delays from not having an operating piece of machinery is a lot more expensive.  Having to waiting until the next business day morning to have a hose assembly made can be extremely expensive.  I am trying to fill a niche service void by making hydraulic hose assemblies "after hours" when most other local services are closed for business.  

My "Emergency Service" hours are 6pm to 7am; closed for snow days. If you need a hose on a snow day, I will do my best to meet your timeline for service, but will not be readily available. 

For a reduced price, I can schedule to make a hose assembly with a 1 day turn around (pending part availability).

What is the assembly process?

At this time, I can make 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" hose assemblies.  My in-stock assembly parts are of standard thread; I do not stock any metric. I have most standard hose ends and an assortment of common hydrauilic fittings on hand.

For building a hose assembly, I will cut the hose to the requested length.  I use foam projectiles and compressed air to blow the projectiles through the hose to remove any small debris that may be inside the hose.  Then using a Gates 420 MobileCrimp, the selected hose ends are appropriately crimped to each end of the hose.  To verify that the crimp is secure, a digital micrometer is used to measure the crimp diameter and checked that it is in manufacture spec.
